TANE AND REFUGE, A SAFE AND RELAXING PLACE FOR CHILDREN - The den is also a key element of the relational philosophy in Snoezelen and the Snoezelen Room. It is an enclosed, dark space designed to provide a comfortable refuge for those with sensory hypersensitivity. The Snoezelen Den helps to calm down, regulate one's sensory system, and cope with new routines. It also encourages multisensory exploration between therapists and patients by allowing stimulating objects, such as sensory spheres, light cubes, and materials of different textures, to be placed inside. The Snoezelen den is thus an effective tool for creating fun and curious sensory adventures
