The game is played between two players: each player is given a board on which are arranged 24 figurines depicting as many characters, drawn in a caricature fashion, each distinguished by different physical peculiarities (skin color, hair color, glasses, etc.) and identified by the person's proper name only.
Each player then chooses a twenty-fifth figurine, chosen from a separate deck, depicting one of the characters; the object of the game is to guess the figurine possessed by the opponent, going by exclusion.
Each player in turn can ask a question about a characteristic of the opposing character's appearance: depending on the answer, all figurines that do not fit the characteristic can be eliminated. For example, a player may ask if the character wears glasses; if the answer is yes, all characters who do not wear them can be eliminated.
The aim of the game is obviously to guess the character possessed by the opponent first, repeating and crossing questions in several rounds until all but one figure is eliminated (certain questions or sequences of questions obviously allow more figures to be eliminated in less time).
