Made of nickel-plated brass and blue reinforced plastic material, the compass is sturdy and durable. In addition, the articulated rods and included extension allow the compasses to be used for circles up to a maximum diameter of 330 mm, with the option to further extend the length up to 580 mm.

The friction baluster compass features a universal compass mount and screw clamp for all pens, making it compatible with most materials used for drawing. In addition, micrometric adjustment via the center screw ensures maximum accuracy in measurements.
