The Mellin Pastina Line, indicated to best meet the evolving dietary and taste needs of the child during the weaning period, is prepared with soft wheat flour. Mellin Pastina is different from adult pasta in that it is made with soft wheat, which has a different protein content than durum wheat, and is fortified with minerals and vitamins to complete the supply of micronutrients during this delicate stage of development.
Mellin's variety of Primi mesi Pastine contains maltodextrins that make them especially digestible and suitable for the baby.
