I Learn Spelling and Punctuation
Activities for elementary school
Beatrice Braga
A collection of fun and original activities to teach children as young as 7 years old the basic rules of spelling and punctuation.
The exercises are presented in an extremely simple way and the path is made more engaging thanks to a friendly guiding character, the octopus Cagliostro.
The 13 chapters into which the book is divided have a regular structure:
- the fact sheet with a preview of the topics covered in the unit;
- the theory sheets, in which the concepts are presented in rhyme and with an explanatory illustration;
- the Cagliostro memo, in which the information learned is to be constructively reorganized;
- the task sheets with specific exercises;
- the active listening cards, with short stories that the teacher can read in class to accustom them to listening and discriminating difficult sounds and words;
- the mental gymnastics worksheets, with review and consolidation exercises that children can do completely independently.
