The dealer will deal one hole card to each player, the player to his right will start the turn and can choose to keep his card or exchange it with the next player's card

However, if the next player has one of the special cards in his hand, he will be able to "cuckoo" and prevent the exchange; at the end of each turn, the cards are revealed and whoever has the lowest card loses one "life"
