This game helps children recognize, accept and validate their own emotions and those of others, fostering the development of emotional intelligence and empathy.
How to play the game?
- Roll the die: the first player rolls the die and looks at the picture on the card corresponding to the number.
- Describe the emotion: Players take turns describing the emotion aroused by the photo, using terms such as "happy," "sad," "angry," "scared," or others they deem appropriate.
- Share experiences: children can share personal experiences in which they felt the emotion depicted, to help them understand that they are not alone in feeling certain emotions and that it is important to talk about them.
- Empathy: they can imagine how another person would feel in the situation depicted, to help them develop empathy and understanding for the feelings of others.
- Emotion cards: circle cards represent different emotions and can be used to identify the emotion felt or to describe the emotion of a character in a story.
In addition to developing emotional intelligence and empathy, this game also fosters:
