Akros - Our Senses

Akros - OUR SENSES is a set of photo tiles designed to help children understand and recognize the five senses: smell, sight, touch, hearing and taste. The set includes 10 master tiles, with two tiles for each sense, and 40 photos of real-life situations depicting the senses.

The goal of the game is to have children identify the pictures that correspond to the sense represented on the master card. In this way, children will learn to distinguish different senses and associate them with everyday experiences. The set also helps develop verbal expression and communicative fluency, encouraging children to describe and explain sensations and experiences related to the senses.

The pictures, with dimensions of 9x9 cm, show scenes and objects that engage the senses in different ways. For example, pictures could be presented of flowers to stimulate the sense of smell, a sunset for sight, a play ball for touch, a concert for hearing, and a fruit for taste.

The set also includes a teacher's guide, which provides tips on how to use the photo tiles in educational activities and stimulate children's olfactory, visual, tactile, auditory and taste sensitivities.
